Meet Our Staff
Monica Day has a Master of Science from MSU in Resource Development. Ms. Day has resided in Jackson County for ten years and is active with numerous community initiatives including Active Jackson, Youth Net, City of Jackson Environmental Commission, Jackson, Audubon Society, Greater Jackson Sierra Club, Upper Grand River Watershed Alliance, Grand-Raisin Collaborative Conservation Community and Save our Youth. She and her husband were licensed foster parents from 2011-2017 to care for their great nephews. They have since adopted them and enjoy camping, canoeing, softball and listening to audiobooks as a family. She enjoys supporting prospective foster and adoptive parents teaching PRIDE, continuing education opportunities provided by Post Adoption Resource Center and joining connecting with other foster and adoptive families.
