Teens and Drugs: A FREE training for Adoptive, Foster, Kinship, and Guardian Parents/Families and Students - Offered by Judson Center & the Post Adoption Resource Center (PARC).

Teens and Drugs for Parents and Families gives an overview of the substances teens may be introduced to or misuse. It offers communication techniques for opening up conversations with youth.

Presenter: Cheryl Phillips
Cheryl has a Masters Degree in Education and has worked in the field for nearly 30 years. She most recently worked at the St. Joseph Mercy Health Exploration Station teaching programs related to health to Preschool through adult audiences. She developed and implemented the Vaping 101 and Drugs 101 programs which have been shared with hundreds of school groups and family units, reaching thousands across southeast Michigan. She is currently the owner of HealthEd Talks and volunteers on her local school Health Advisory Board.
