Meet The Staff

Emma Bunce is from Lansing and recently graduated from Michigan State University in May 2026 with a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Business. She is passionate about helping children and families feel supported, welcomed, and connected throughout their foster care journey. Emma has experience caring for medically fragile children and has provided placements for four special needs boys, which has deepened her understanding of trauma-informed care, advocacy, patience, and creating safe, loving environments for children with unique needs.

Emma has a strong love for both kids and animals and believes that every child deserves to feel valued, accepted, and at home. She enjoys building relationships with foster families, helping people feel comfortable, and creating welcoming spaces where others feel supported and encouraged. In her free time, Emma enjoys spending time with family, caring for animals, organizing events, being outdoors, and learning more about child development, attachment, and inclusive caregiving practices.

Emma is excited to support foster families and help make a positive difference in the lives of children in care.
