Meet The Staff

Hello, my name is Jennifer Schiller. I have been a Foster Parent for 7 years, and an Adoptive Parent for 5 years. I have 5 biological children, who are grown and married,  6 grandchildren, and we have fostered and adopted two little girls. Which means we are grandparents and raising two littles younger than our grandchildren.

From the time I was in grade school, I knew I wanted to someday foster and adopt children, and this is how my life has played out. I am passionate about kids and giving them the love and support they need. Every child deserves a loving family that supports and cares for them.

I recently accepted the position of Recruitment and Retention Coordinator and Navigator for Mason/Oceana/Lake/Newaygo Counties for Family Bound. In this role, I will be recruiting and supporting foster and adoptive families within these counties. I am excited to partner with families, learn and grow together, and support each other in our journeys.

I went to Davenport College and received a bachelor's in business administration, with a minor in accounting. For the past 30 years, I have worked as an accountant, but my passion is helping children and families within the foster care system.

Personally, I love my family and we enjoy spending a lot of time together exploring and camping. We love the outdoors and seeing new places. I also love God and am passionate about serving in my local church. I feel He has gifted me with certain talents to be used for His Glory.
