Meet The Staff

Kathy Wilde and her husband Mike live in Gaylord.  They fostered for 10 years and adopted 5 children who now range from 10 – 32 years of age.  Kathy was a “foster sibling” as her parents fostered when she was young.  She remembers the excitement of waking up to discover new playmates in the house.  With “being a mom” always as her main life goal, she sought licensure soon after getting settled in Gaylord after grad school.  Having worked in church ministry for nearly 20 years, Kathy appreciates building meaningful relationships with people, especially through support groups and trainings.  Kathy is passionate about fostering and finding quality homes for children in care.  Fostering has been a blessing in her life, and she enjoys helping others on a similar path.  Kathy’s free time is spent with her family camping, travelling, hiking, and gardening.
