Lila LoPresto

Region 4

Foster Care Navigator

Lila LoPresto serves as a Foster Care Recruiter and Navigator for Regions 4 and 5, bringing both professional and personal experience to her work supporting children and families. Lila and her husband, Noah, began their foster care journey in December 2024. At just 21 and 23 years old, they became licensed foster parents without having any biological children of their own. They simply had a heart for children and a desire to provide a safe, loving home. They certainly didn’t have it all figured out, and that is something Lila is passionate about reminding others: you don’t have to have it all figured out to say yes.

Since opening their home, Lila and Noah have welcomed eight children and are preparing to finalize the adoption of their very first placement. Their journey has shaped Lila’s passion for helping others navigate foster care and reminding families that they don’t have to walk the journey alone. Both born and raised in Hillsdale County, Lila and Noah have a strong desire to give back to the community they call home. Lila is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Social Work and hopes to continue advocating for children and families throughout her career.

Outside of work, Lila and Noah love spending time with their kiddos and their fur babies—after all, they were fur parents first! Above all, Lila hopes families know that an imperfect home can still be a safe home. Sometimes, simply being willing to open your door, provide love and stability, and show up for a child may feel like the smallest thing to you, but it can change a child’s life forever.
