Join Child Safe Michigan for a workshop and discussion on respecting, honoring, and navigating openness with biological family members to support the children you work and care for.

Come and learn about the benefits and challenges around honoring and including biological families in your lives while navigating issues around jealousy, loyalty, and safety for the children you care for.

This workshop is presented by Katie Page Sander, LMSW. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Social Work. Katie has 23 years of experience in child welfare, including agency management, direct practice, supervision, training, community organization, program management, and policy development. She is also an adoptive parent of two.
