Amanda and Brandon - Ingham County

"Amanda and Brandon have been licensed foster parents through Child and Family Charities since 2013. They are extremely dedicated to the children in their home, as they are self-sacrificing, patient, and flexible. They have adopted three children and are in the process of adopting two additional children. Despite a terminal illness, Amanda and Brandon adopted their son to ensure that he was surrounded by a family that loved him during his short life. In 2020, the family suffered the unimaginable loss of their son.

Amanda and Brandon are strong advocates for children in foster care and their biological parents. They develop positive relationships with birth parents and support reunification efforts whenever possible. They are committed to doing whatever it takes to keep siblings together, even offering to build an addition onto their home to reunite siblings. Amanda and Brandon represent the very best in foster parents."
