"Charity not only teaches about trauma resolution in her work as a professor, but she also uses those skills daily with the child placed with her. She fiercely advocates for her foster daughter's needs. Since being placed with Charity, the child has been able to participate in gymnastics, ice skating lessons, equine therapy, and more! Along with receiving occupational therapy, individual therapy and wraparound services, Charity never stops working toward this child's best interest, and she loves her well. Charity has equipped her home with a therapy swing for the child and implemented structure and routine. There isn't a mountain Charity wouldn't climb to help her foster daughter. She is committed to her progress, safety, and sense of belonging."
