Shay and Amanda have three biological children and are foster parents for three children currently living in their home. Over time, they have adapted the mentality that they can help "one more" child. When asked about how they approached three very different types of cases - semi-independent care for a young adult, infant foster care, and pre-adoptive foster care - Shay and Amanda shared that they each had individual conversations with each child in their home about helping to make a difference. With the support of the entire family, Shay and Amanda have been able to influence the lives of children in foster care and their families one at a time.
